Janet Williams - Receptionist
Janet is the friendly face you will see as you walk into our practice. She is a devoted team member and tries very hard to accommodate our patients in any way she can, especially when it comes to the difficult task of scheduling. After having some cosmetic dentistry done by Dr. Makarita, I was able to experience firsthand the dramatic difference a smile can make in one's self-esteem and self-confidence. | Jolyn Wurm, RDH - Dental
Hygienist Jolyn joined our team in 2002. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from Old Dominion University. She is a dedicated hygienist who takes pride in her work and is always eager to learn more about her field by taking many continuing education courses. She has been a great addition to our team! It is a pleasure to work with a dentist that is so passionate about his field. Dr. Makarita is very meticulous and is a perfectionist in his work. His attention to detail and knowledge of smile design has enabled him to transform patients' smiles into true works of art. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of his exceptional team. |

Barbara Lunsford - Chairside Assistant
Barbara has been Dr. Makarita‘s chairside assistant since 1993. She is an invaluable part of the practice and is truly Dr. Makarita's "right hand." Barbara has been in the dental field for more than twenty years and brings with her experience, dedication and a pleasant personality. Dr. Makarita has shown himself to be a true professional and innovator in cosmetic dentistry. | Kelli Owens, CDA - Clinical
Assistant Kelli joined our team in January 2004. She has been a certified dental assist since 1997. She is a great asset to the practice, and we are lucky to have Kelli on our team. She is a very knowledgeable and dedicated individual who really cares about our patients. Since joining Dr. Makarita's team, I have been impressed with his dedication to his field. He attends numerous continuing education courses as he strives to be current in the ever-changing field of cosmetic dentistry.
