Peoples' Choice Award
May 4, 2003 - Dr. Makarita has won the prestigious People's Choice Award in the
9th annual American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) National Smile Gallery Competition. Out of 270 entries, Dr. Makarita's work was selected for this award at the organization's 19th Annual Scientific Session in Orlando, Florida.

Four Gold AACD Awards
May 11, 2002 - Dr. Makarita has won four Gold Awards in the 8th annual American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) National Smile Gallery Competition. These awards were presented on the basis of exhibiting outstanding skill in cosmetic dental procedures. All contest entries were anonymously submitted by members of the AACD. The AACD is the largest international dental organization dedicated specifically to the art and science of cosmetic dentistry, with more than 5,000 members in the U.S. and around the globe.
